The Truman State University collection of early catalogs and bulletins contains information about the school, its departments and faculty, cost of tuition, and more. According to the school's longtime English professor and second president, William P. Nason, the "First Annual Catalogue of the North Missouri Normal School" was never published. The second catalog was first published in 1868; the publication has been regularly published since that time. Some editions were small circulars of only a few pages while others were quite large and contained information similar to a yearbook, such as names of students and organizations. Still others covered only one topic (theatrical plays, math, the Model Rural School, etc.). This digital collection covers the years 1868-1925.
