In collaboration with the Missouri Secretary of State Local Records Preservation Program, the Truman State University Digital Library has incorporated a selection of cases from the Adair County Circuit Court into the collection. These court cases offer an engaging look into the judicial system of Adair County in the late 1800's, containing cases that range from the heinously criminal to the simplest of civil suits. Truman State University undergraduates have the opportunity to archive similar records through the Judicial Archives Project where they clean, repair, process, and index 19th century public records from the county courthouses of northeast Missouri.
